Kuldip Oberoi’s Blog

I’m a group manager of Developer Tools & Linux Marketing at Sun Microsystems, where I’m responsible for production marketing around our developer tools, NetBeans and Sun Studio software, as well as our Linux community relations.

Prior to joining Sun, I led the engineering team at Synapta, where we created web applications to launch companies such as ZipRealty.com, HomeGain.com, ClickAction, and Compare.Net as well as web sites/apps for established businesses like Cost Plus and Kaiser Permanente.

After graduating in Computer Science from Cal Poly, SLO, I started my professional life at Apple Computer, where I developed device driver software for the Common Hardware Reference Platform (CHRP) where many of the innovations went into the first iMac.
